With Volume Bikes‘ ED colors getting a ton of press, we thought we’d offer up the whole kit (Bermuda V2 frames, Hatchet forks & Barista bars) for you guys. Our ED kits are available now at your local Volume bikes dealer/ mail order, or on Volume’s online shop <<HERE>>.
At 180 Dist we not only offer a wide range of frames, forks, parts, and completes for anything and everything BMX, but we also offer Volume and Demolition Custom Complete bike build packages at a discount to all of our 180 Dist dealers. Fullerton Bicycles in California has been offering our Custom Completes for years and this Drew Hosselton ED Chrome Blue Bermuda V2 build is their latest, and it looks so good. Call us or shoot us an email ([email protected]) if you’re interested in checking out what’s available in our Custom Complete deals.
We’re stocked up on the Dumbchuck V3 plastic pegs from Demolition. Demolition has been the front runner in plastic pegs since the early 2000’s with their early bulky Numbchuck plastic pegs. They’ve gone through quite the change since then with these version threes. They’re slimmed down to a normal peg size and way more durable. Aluminum 7075 core and a nylon plastic compound outer for strength and durability. They come 14mm with 3/8″ spacers to run on the front and are sold individually so you don’t have to buy in bulk if you’re only in need a front or rear replacement. They also slide way smoother with Demolition Soap Bar Wax.
Interbike 2014 is officially a wrap, so we’ve got all the video coverage for Volume & Demolition from RideBMX and Vitalbmx right here in one spot for easy access. There’s breakdowns of all the products we’ve been busting our humps on this past year, and even a sneak peak or two on products that we’re toying with. Above is the Vitalbmx coverage of Volume, and for the rest just hit the jump.
Dennis Enarson’s Rig line has officially all landed and Demolition cooked up an interview with the man himself on what went into the line, what he wanted, all the odds and ends of signature parts. To quote Dennis, “I don’t want to ever hear that somebody broke one of my parts and got hurt, and I never want to be thinking, ‘I hope nothing snaps’ before I’m about to try something sketchy.” In the industry of seeing parts all the time, reading this reminds me of how much I can still get stoked on parts when reading about what went into them and the name behind them. This is a great read, and we highly recommend you to head over to Demolition’s site to read it.
Another year, another Interbike in Vegas. We can’t believe it’s already that time again. Didn’t we just ring in the new year not too long ago? If you’re going to be at Interbike next week, then stop by the booth, get some free items in these handy, biodegradable 180 Dist bags, and check out the new Volume Bikes and Demolition Parts components and completes we’re offering up for 2014/15. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes getting another dialed line up going and we’re excited with all of the new colors, new completes, and new products. We’ve got a lot to show and we’re really excited to get them out there and see what people think. See you at booth 3103.
The container has pulled away, foreign dust has settled, and the sweat o’ me brow has dried which means one thing….New BMX Goods from Volume & Demolition!!! We are so excited to finally get in some of the new items we’ve been working so feverishly on for the past year and more. Items like Dennis Enarson’s signature Demolition Rig Cranks & Tires, Volume Bermuda V2 frames, Limited Edition Drew Hosselton & Alex Raban signature colorways, 24mm Mid BB’s, 24mm splined Mugatus, and the anticipated VLM grips are all here. And, yes, you read that right. Limited Edition colorways. There’s only a really small amount. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Hit the jump to check out the gallery of all the new items.
Aaron Smith just dropped a new Demolition x Kink x OLP edit. I don’t think anyone can get much more technical and as smooth as Aaron. Speaking of Aaron, we just restocked on his popular Brace top load stem. Check it out if you’re looking for a new stem, or even if you’re not. Filmed By: The Jerry’s. Edit By: Lee Hopkins
Volume and Demolition are currently on the Refill of Elephant Distribution’s Tea & Biscuits 2 UK tour with the likes of Mastroni, Kris Fox, Rob Wise, Broc Raiford, Drew “The Boss” Hoss, Connor Lodes’s spirit, and a few other of our UK riders. The photos look like they’re having an awesome time, riding some great spots, and getting plenty of top notch Yorkshire tea. Seriously, they have a tea sponsor for tea and biscuits. Hit up the Volume and Demolition blogs to see what they’re up to.
Our dear friends at Volume recently dropped some original content into the life of new signing DeMarcus Paul and what it’s like to live and ride in San Diego without a car. Seeing as most young adults in the USA are assumed to have a car for personal transportation, whether it’s an Aston Martin DB9 or your mom’s 1981 cherry red Pinto with rust-colored racing stripes, we tend to take that luxury for granted and forget what it’s like to be without it. How very much life changes when we grab the keys. We gain freedom in distance and time, but there can be some loss in those four wheels too. Anyway, this is a really great read and gets you into a different perspective of an already solid personality, so you should hit up the link HERE and delve in.
