Connor-Lodes-AW-2

Our Demolition dude, Connor Lodes, has been really making moves this past year. And it’s about time he’s gotten the credit he deserves. With a banging part in the NORA Cup Video of the Year, Markit, moving over and up to the Kink Pro team, his Kink Welcome video dropping today, he’s now got an interview up on DigBMX that you should check out. I’ve known Connor for a number of years now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the most genuine and down to earth guys you could meet. If he’s ever out and someone recognizes him, he’s not hesitant at all to have a conversation with them. So check out the interview and get to know the dude!

TEA & BISCUITS 2 UK BMX TOUR VIDEO from 180 Distribution on Vimeo.

Our Demolition guys (Drew Hosselton, Rob Wise, and Kris Fox) and Volume guys (Broc Raiford and Drew Hosselton) all went over the pond to jump in on another UK Tea and Biscuits Tour with the fine folks at Elephant Distribution. They caught up with UK riders, Michael Jordan, Vince Mayne, Jordan Aleppo, and head honcho Steve Bancroft, rode some amazing parks and only got rained on a couple days. Sounds like a win-win if you ever vacationed in the UK before. Check it out, get stoked and get ready to be jealous of how awesome the parks are there.
“The second installment of our Tea & Biscuits UK Tour in affiliation with Elephant Distribution. Featuring riders from Volume, Demolition, and Markit US and UK. Broc Raiford, Drew Hosselton, Michael Jordan, Kris Fox, Jordan Aleppo, Vince Mayne, Rob Wise, and Steve Bancroft tear up some of England’s finest skatepark establishments and shops along the way. It was a wild journey to say the least. Enjoy!” Filmed & Edited by Mike Mastroni.

Volume Bikes just dropped a really nice interview with AM rider Zach Krejmas over the weekend. You may not know this, but Zach is a pretty big influence in BMX and has been for sometime. He not only is a solid rider, but has been an avid filmer for Vital in the past, and this year made the move to RideBMX. You’ve been affected by him whether you know it or not, so do your internet clicking over to the Volume interview and see what goes on in that bearded head.

Forklift

Demolition just put up an awesome interview with our resident pun aficionado, Joshua Bernard Clemens (I actually don’t know what his middle name is). Josh has been working with us as a dealer with his Dad at Gonracin BMX Shop for a couple of years, riding for the Demolition and Volume Am teams for close to a year, and working in the warehouse and around the office close to 6 months, but he’s been in our hearts for even longer. He loves apples with peanut butter, good puns (#wwbs), and his roommate Broc Raiford. All jokes aside, Josh is an all around good dude so head over to Demolition to check out his interview and get to know our honorary employee of the month…..Also, he’s at extension 110 if you want to call and chat with him, or ask him out on a date ladies.

Demolition just got in samples not too long ago of the new Axes grips they’ve been working on. The Axes grips were shown at Interbike in the plastic mold version, but the production samples are here and in the hands (literally) of riders. They feel great; super cushy with a nice medium thickness. They’re basically a modified version of the proven mushroom pattern, but the spiral pattern provides good lateral grip to prevent front-back slippage. They’re still a bit out with a planned release for Spring, but will be available in black and red/black marble, as well as flange-less and mini-flange. The flanges and ends are also slightly knurled for a little extra grip and detail, and they’ll come with Demolition’s re-designed bar ends that went through several samples and durability materials as well.

frames

I’ll be honest, this photo definitely gets me excited. It’s like candy. So many frames and so many colors in one photo. I just imagine all of these frames falling from the sky like skittles and I get to have my pick. We’ve already got Broc’s Vessel and the Bermuda V2 Limited Colors in stock, but on deck are Jason Enns’s Cerberus, Broc’s new Vessel color, and the DeMarcus and trans color Bermuda V2’s drop this month. I’ll break em down for a sec….Cerberus = Flat Black & Evergreen… Vessel = Flat Red, Flat Black, Polished Raw, & Black/White Splatter…Bermuda V2 = DeMarcus Flat Army Green, Trans Gold (A. Raban), Trans Blue (Drew H.), LE Blue ED Chrome, LE Penny ED Chrome, & Flat Black. If you’re looking for a new frame for the new year, we’ve got the color and specs you’re looking for. Hit up Volume to check em all out and get your pre-order in before they’re gone.
